Dr. Diana Lattimore, PhD, CC-AASP

Diana is a former DI collegiate gymnast who sustained a serious injury her freshman year of college. Thirteen months of rehabilitation and four surgeries later, she was able to return to the competition floor; however the process of getting there was one of the hardest things she has ever been through and that is what ultimately led her into the field of sports psychology. Diana is now a Sport & Exercise Psychology college professor in the Kinesiology department at USF, a certified sports psychology consultant, and a national rated gymnastics judge.

Casey Crosbie, RD

Casey is a Registered Dietitian and a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She currently serves as Director of Nutrition Services for the Healthy Teen Project in Los Altos, CA and is co-author of "How to Nourish Your Child Through an Eating Disorder: A Simple, Plate-by-Plate Approach to Rebuilding a Healthy Relationship with Food."  She was published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition in Clinical Practice, and the Journal of Adolescent Health.

Selina Shah, MD, FACP 

Selina is a board certified sports medicine physician. She is a member of the USA Gymnastics Referral Network and the Team Physician for USA Synchronized Swimming, USA Figure Skating and USA Weightlifting. A former gymnast, rhythmic gymnast, and current dancer, Dr. Shah is able to combine her own experiences as an athlete with her medical training to provide skilled diagnoses and management options for athletes.

Umihiko Miya 

Umi graduated from Meiji University in 2004, majoring in Economy. He started his career working for the Panama National Gymnastics Team and to develop gymnastics. His career in gymnastics continued as he worked at Peninsula gymnastics. After his years of coaching, he worked for Cirque de Soleil TOTEM as an acrobat, captain and amp coach. During this time, he launched his own design company UmiQue Works in 2011 and became certified in the Trigger Point Myofascial Compression Technique in 2015. Last year, he published 4 books about his life on tour, written in Japanese, and in the past year, he became an actor, mainly performing on theater internationally.

About the Co-founders

Dr. Alyssa Herrera-Set 

Alyssa's area of expertise as a physical therapist and pilates teacher is working with pediatric and adolescent gymnasts and dancers. She sees her role as a physical therapist as one who educates the public about injury prevention, assists people in reaching their goals after injury, and guides people in improving their performance post-rehabilitation. She is a an adjunct professor at Notre Dame de Namur University where she teaches Multicultural Issues in Healthcare and she is a lecturer for the UCSF Physical Therapy Program where she lectures on the care of gymnasts and dancers .  She is the owner of On the Move Physical Therapy in Belmont, CA.

Jessica Wickizer 

Jessica is an active member of USA Gymnastics as a judge, choreographer, and nationally rated coach. After 20 years of coaching competitive teams, she maintains a relentless enthusiasm for the sport of gymnastics.  Jessica earned a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. While in college, she was awarded three consecutive coaching awards including "Rookie Optional Coach of the Year". While living in San Francisco, she worked as both a Developmental Director and a Head Coach, and was lucky to meet Alyssa Herrera-Set and develop a shared passion for injury prevention. She has found a new gymnastics home at AZ Dynamics in Tucson as a Compulsory and Optional Coach, and as the Preschool Director.
